Seeds Take Up the Soil Taproom Release

Join us for the taproom release of  Seeds Take Up the Soil, a sweet potato ale collaboration with Creature Comforts Brewing Co. The beer will be available on tap and in 4 packs to go starting on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. We’ll be hanging out at Creature Comforts on Wednesday to celebrate the release, participate in the weekly Athens’ Farmers Market, and enjoy the live music. We hope to see you there! About the beer: This beer features 200 pounds of locally sourced sweet potatoes, along with sorghum molasses and seasonal spices. The beer is 6.7% abv, but is pleasant enough to sip all autumn.

Support local urban agriculture: We have partnered with our friends at BrewGether to support microgrants for local black farmers in Athens and Atlanta by selling limited edition glassware for the release. 100% of the proceeds from the glassware will go to these urban farms with BrewGether matching up to $1,000.
